Fiona Lewins
Fiona is a Director in SAHA's Transport team and has been involved in public transport rail franchising since it was initially introduced in the UK. Fiona joined SAHA in early 2007 from the Department for Transport in the UK.
Fiona has worked in a number of areas within public sector jurisdictions; including: policy development; regulatory requirements; the procurement of tram and train franchises in Melbourne and the UK; contract design for rail contracts in the UK and Australia; and ensuring contract delivery as a Franchise Manager of a rail franchise for the Department for Transport in the UK.
During 1998/99, Fiona first worked in Melbourne when she was seconded to the Treasury project team responsible for delivering the initial restructuring and franchising of Victoria's passenger rail industry. Fiona has more recently been advising the Victorian Department of Transport on the ongoing refranchising of Melbourne's metropolitan train and tram services.
An experienced consultant, Fiona specialises in providing commercial and strategic advice related to public transport contract design, procurement and delivery.
